08 SG Aftermarket seat problems
I've tried some aftermarket seats for my 08 street glide and none fit correctly. I had a Mustang and the front was about 1" too short it left a gap at the front. I'm sending my C&\\;C back for the 2nd time trying to get a fix with Cuck. He said that the redesigned 6 gal tank has been gicing makers major problems. Does nay one elas ehave this problem and what seats do you have on the fit?

Did you have to take anything off of the frame ? I've tried 2 different Mustang stlys and they both were about a inch short at the front. The C&\\;C's front was arched in a way that it didn't sit flat on the tank. I don't know if it was a bad base or not. I sent it back and chuck is going to look at it.

I had an issue with my Mustang solo - didn't think it fit right, but after writing Mustang, they told me you really have to give the solo seat a whack forward to seat it in to place. AFter using a soft mallet all is well. I just used some lock washers to ensure the bolts don't loosen.
