this is what they went on... took a while, cause the bike took so long to build, its almost done now though...
and the pods... the speakers can actually be flushed all the way in, but friend wanted them to stick out a little, to add a little more dimension.... the picts dont do it any justice at all...
working on more as we speak, gonna change them up a bit, also doing new ones for my bike... as far as resale, dont know yet, most of what i do is one off and i change them everytime i do another... these came out awesome, if i could make a mold of some sort, i would entertain selling them... as it stands, i would have to buy a set of roadglide lowers and make more sets (each time prob changing a little), then to advertise on this forum, would be the next step, so i dont **** people off...
i have been on the forum for a while now and have not hesitated to offer free advise on installs.. i will continue to do so, but when i first posted the thread, i think some thought i was a business trying to make money off the site, which is not the case, i have a full time career, this stuff is more of a hobby that i am starting to take very seriously...
anyhow, as soon as i can find a set of used roadglide lowers for a decent price, i will get them and start doing more work, as i complete them, i will figure out what to do next and for how much...
nice work dude..............if you ever get the Road Glide stuff done let us know.........
i will thank you, havent seen any that compare to mine yet... although i have seen some decent ones... it would be hard to make a mold for mine, so mine have a more elegant look to them, than the ones made using a mold, unfortunately, with this look, comes a little more work, therefore a little more price in the end...lol but most people that want my help dont mind spending a little extra...
i am working on taking all this more seriously, tools, maybe shop, etc. so when i do, i will def. be doing some nice stuff...
How about making them for the hogchops lowers? I don't think they have glove boxes for them yet and bet there would be alot of intrest for them here on the forum. by the way, that is a wicked nasty RG!!!

havent heard of Hogchops, but if many people have them, maybe ill do a set for them and sell it as a complete set, to test it out???
I am currently working on a set for my 08 roadglide. I also have vents in the lowers and I am working the speakers in over the top of the opening so everything works. Vents are the plastic snap in type, mounted in the forward leading edge of the lower, not the pop out type mounted just on the inside. Will hold 6.5" speakers, and total length measure roughly 8" down from the top of the fairing lower. Anyone interested can email me directly kevinandalisha@netzero.com or call 205 948 6481
Where did you get your lowers? If I have read correctly, the HD FLTR lowers dose come w/vents.
