ORIGINAL: El Rey

Out of curiosity, why do members of Choir Boys ride strapped? I really don't see the need to ride with a gun...
&nbsp\\;
Some do it for requirement purposes.

When I worked, I was supposed to be armed all the time, even off duty.

But when you do the job long enough, that's what you do.

Ok, that being said...some members of Choir Boys are RETIRED cops. So, hence the question why ride strapped. Look, I'm for for guns, I have quite a few. I moved to San Diego from Virginia which is a great state for gun owners. LOL.

El Rey..even retired we all carry. Part of the business. I'm still on the job. We (Choir Boys) carry because everyone knows who we are and we don't want to be easy victims! We should'nt hi-jack this thread. PM me if you need forther info.

As a newbie rider I can tell those techniques are great to learn from if you practice them on a regular basis.&nbsp\\; Most of my friends riden for 5 even 20 years.&nbsp\\; after I got my license and we started to ride long distance and at times we have to make "U-trns" or make a turn in tight area.&nbsp\\; they walk their bike I simply make the turn lock to lock that's from practicing those technique.&nbsp\\; I highly reommend the DVD, now our chapter holds a monthly training session practicing those specific technique.

If you dump the bike for some reason, the engine guards and bag guards will support the bike, you may get a little scrape on the primary(been there)&nbsp\\; but no one will see it.&nbsp\\; If you have an ultra they dont fall very far.
