+1 for bobvic2. \\; I have a set of his slipons on my bike they sound really good for the money. \\; He has his own web site too if you want to hear the pipes. he sells two different kinds of mufflers. the 1st is a set of modfied stock mufflers and the second his superflow mufflers are totally rebaffled mufflers. \\; i have the modified stock ones at level 2. \\; here is his web site. \\; www.superflowmufflers.com

I was in the same situation as you , so I started looking at the classifieds here at the forum.
There were many sets of aftermarket mufflers for under $100.00 , so I took a chance on the Vance and Hines I have now.
I picked them up for $70.00 plus shipping and have been quite happy with my decision.
Be patient , ask questions , and you'll get a great deal around here.
The forum members have been great to deal with for me.
