Brakes Squealing
My 08 Ultra had a slight squeal in both the front and rear brakes right off the floor. I have about 780 miles on it now and the rear brakes are starting to get a lot worse. I thought it would go away once they wore in a little but not so. Going back to the dealer today for true duals so I'll have them take a look. Anyone else had this problem?

That's not unusual for stock pads. \\; The dealer may help but the squeak will likely come back. \\; I had the same problem, replaced with pads yith Lyndall Z Pads. \\; No more squeaks!

I did the lyndall pads to get rid of the squeak and it is probably 80% better but will still squeak from time to time. It actually got real bad again on a trip to Gatlinburg but by the time I got home the squeak was mostly gone again.

The rear on mine was squealing so loud it was embarassing coming to a stoplight. The dealer cleaned and bevaled the edges of the pad at the 1k service, but the squeal came right back, so like the other I replaced them with Lyndall Z pads. When I took the stock pads off you could tell why they were squealing, they looked like almost pure metal.

I have the same problem with the rear brakes. \\;\\\\\\; The dealer "fixed it" temporarily but it came back in force. \\;\\\\\\; I have not been able to find out if there are Lyndall pads available for the new Brembo calipers used on the '08 touring bikes. \\;\\\\\\; If they are available that is my plan to address the problem. \\;\\\\\\; Anybody found them yet? I currently have 3000 miles on the bike and the problem hasn't fixed itself based on mileage.

I have 8000 km (5000 mi) on mine and the squealing comes and goes. \\; I think it occurs more in humid weather but so far it doesn't happen enough to bother me...
