Shrimp,
 \\;
Been in a few accidents over the years and \\;couple real bad jammers mixed in there. I kept riding. \\; In fact just took possesion of a used 2001 Ultra for long distance comfort. \\; Its an individual decesion. \\; I am not still riding because of others, I am riding because of me. \\; If you feel you need to quit then listen to your heart and intuition. \\; Thats what most live and die by.
 \\;
Good luck, speedy recovery.
my wife (my hero) has me in tears daily as i watch her go thru phys therapy after the rod and cable in her leg from the latest acc few weeks back. her goal?? back on the bike of course. i truly believe that for some NOT riding is simply not an option. hope all works well for you.
Hang in there dude , I had a bad one in '90 when a cage turned in front of me , totaled the \\;scooter , and soon as I had another bike , a couple weeks , I was up and going again ..
 \\;
Life is about choices , I almost hung it up back then , but kept on riding ..
 \\;
You'll know what to do .. Each of us \\;is different .. \\;
 \\;
A friend of mine hung it up after a wreck not long before my wreck , and he walked away for seven years , then showed up one day on a new scoot ..
Don't know how many years you been riding, But I do know you're gonna miss it, if not now, a couple years from now. Only you can decide what you want to do. Myself, I just crashed last week and I can't wait to get my bike back. Good luck in your decision and God bless you.
Dude go and get your self the hd broken wing patch \\; and wear it with pride because earned it by living through a bad one. May god bless and heal you quickly .............kev
