Looks real sweet, Buddy!

How's the forward visibility? I'm 5'10" do you think the fairing would block my forward vision much? Fully equipped as you have it, how much does it weight? Any rattle or other noise?

I guess you can see I'm awfully interested in getting for my ride. Which company makes yours?

Thanks much for all the compliments. That scenery is what I get to look at every morning. The pond is right at our side yard and yes, it has good fishing.

mchacon...

The fairing really didn't add any weight to speak of. Being detachable it had to keep a lighter weight for ease of removal. It attaches similar to the stock windshield except the upper mounts drop into place just like the lower mounts (they don't just push backwards like the stock windshield). No noises, rattles, etc. Very tight and sound mounting. It also locks into place to keep anyone from just lifting it off. The one I decided to get is from Dead Center Cycles. I'm 6'2" and have no issues with visibilty even though it took a little time getting used to a different view from the stock windshield. The windshield that's on there now is the 7" that came stock on the fairing. Like the other manufactures they do have height options to choose from. The next step is to get a shaded windshield but I'm still on the fence as to what size I'm getting. The 7" gives enough wind break but for me still low enough so I'm not looking through it.

Brian,

Fire up another stogie, on me!

Bro, that bike just gets sweeter and swetter looking with each new mod. Very nice.

Have you ever considered the nostalgic look saddlebag guards? Just curious.

Enjoy the ride. Now I have to envy the ride AND your view !

Be safe,

Primo

Hey Primo...

Do you also indulge in fine cigars? Yup, I've looked at those but haven't quite made up my mind. I have a set of hard bags sitting in the garage just waiting to be painted. Just another addition to the whole look of things and being able to swap parts around.

Ram...

What's the status of your fairing?

Fantastic looking 'King you have Brian. Obviously all your visual mods were well thought out and well executed. I had to forward my friend your pictures - he has the same color combo on his Road King.

Yo Brian,

I've been known to crack the old humidor open every now and then.If you ever make it out this way I have a finely aged Opus with your name on it.

With or without the guards, it's a great looking ride.
