Need Help .. Dead Bike

Hopefully most of you are riding today but if someone sees this and has an idea I'd appreciate your help. I came back from a 10 day vacation to find my 08 RG dead. Everything was running perfectly before I left. I installed the HD alarm a few weeks ago so I am wondering if it went off and ran the battery down. It tested at 3.97 volts this morning andafter nearly 5 hours charging it's only at 7.3v. When I turn the switch with the charger attached I have power but none without the charger. The battery is one year old, do you think it's toast? Any other ideas?

Also, I know some of you guys live in Washington state, beautiful country, I was wishing I had my bike. We spent 10 days there.... Seattle, San Juans, Rainer and Oplympic NP, all beatuiful!

Just a couple of guesses...Possible drain from user installed alarm...check draw when you have a fully charged,known-good battery,with alarm set.Otherwise you could have a bad battery.If you slow charged for 5 hours,and only tests 7v,it's toast.Hope this helps.&nbsp\\; vee2win
