How many of you guys are having engine pinging. I dont know if its the gas in my area or I have a problem. I have filled up at several places and I still get pinging. Gonna have to put a additive I guess.

 

it was bad on my 07 specialy when hot went with ied from nightrider its alot better u can also get a dowload from the dealer that retards the timing that should help. im guessin we aint the only ones since harley is offering a free fix.

 

What octane rating are you using? What mods have you done to your engine? A bit more info would be nice to help you.

 

No mods, bike is stock. I always use the highest octane. I used the additive Rocket Fuel once and it seemed to help.
