Default Modifying Helmet Question

Anybody know of a better way to modify a helmet so it will fit better other than using a lighter to melt the styrofoam??&nbsp\\;

On minor Hot Spots I have always used a 1" or better socket. Apply pressure and roll on and around the problem hot spot area.

Just use a spoon. Find the points where you have hot spots and use a spoon to push the styrofoam in a little. Made mine fit perfectly

Mine was a little snug so I used a 5lb. sledge hammer to re-adjust the foam in the front and back. Worked great.

Thanks for the replies.&nbsp\\; I bought the new ladies helmet from HD for the wife.&nbsp\\; Supposed to be made more oval for womens heads, but it didn't work for her.&nbsp\\; I will try&nbsp\\;rolling it down, sounds better than melting it...Thanks again
