Bought a helmet from J&P cycles according to their fitment chart. Too tight, so I lifted the cloth covering the styrofoam and beat the crap out of the foam with a hammerevenly- and now it fits like a dream.

pull the linner back and gradually peen the high areas. \\; anything else is too agressive, messy, or just plain \\;stupid.
How about taking the time and finding one that fits properly? Just sayin'.....

That is what I did. \\; $176.00 helmet made for a wormen's head, but it still isn't right. \\; Problem doesn't show up until after several hours of riding. \\; Good suggestions, won't be the first helmet I custom fit, always used heat before just wondered if there was better way.
