There was a reduction in price (value)

a 30lb weight gain since last year (with zero gain in performance).....

Always nice to know that my first HD was $600 more than the newer improved version offered the following year. I know times are tough but thats a pretty good shot to the 08s. Thanks MOCO

Sounds about how they hosed the people that bought a Superglide in 2007 for Msrp of $14,650 and then they came out in 2008 with a msrp of $12,999. \\; But keeps people buying a new one why pay 12 or 13 k for a used when you can buy a new one for that

Price came down cuz they can't move as many bikes as they could a few years ago. Here in Florida, some of the dealers have reduced the pricing to MSRP!!!

Florida ia behind the times. Chicago and Milwaukee area dealers have been selling at MSRP for over two years. In fact, some V-Rod models have been selling below MSRP.

With discounts today, my car is \\;\\\\\\;$12000 cheaper this year new than when I bought it in '05. Companies have to adjust to the times, \\;\\\\\\;the Road King is \\;\\\\\\;huge for Harley, so why not make it more attractive.
