If it has been&nbsp\\;many years you might take the MSF course. It would be beneficial to a new or returning rider.

Welcome Aboard and best of luck with your new ride!

I would strongly suggest taking a motorcycle safety course after your long layoff. You won't regret it.

Good luck, hope you enjoy your new bike.&nbsp\\; The Motorcycle Safety Course would make you safer and refresh your skills.&nbsp\\; Often you have to go againist your instincts in emergency situations when riding a bike and the course will remind you of some of these to continue to practice on.&nbsp\\; Never quit learning.

Even if you've ridden before, take the Advanced Safety Course.&nbsp\\; It helped me immensely after a 30 year layoff.

The headlight modulator really works, also.&nbsp\\; I can't tell you how many times I've seen cars start to pull out and then stop when they see the modulating headlight.&nbsp\\; Of course, it's hard to get some to go ahead of me at a four way stop!&nbsp\\; Some have even pulled over when I've come up behind them!&nbsp\\; Crazy cagers!

Welcome back to the biking brotherhood! (No offense ladies)&nbsp\\; I had a about a 20 year break from riding myself.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;As others have already advised, take it slow regaining your riding skills and enjoy your new bike.

Riding in a group too soon will get you in trouble

They will ride faster than&nbsp\\; you are comfortable with and cause you problems.
