I have a 03 roadking classic and I am interested in putting forward controls on it. Does any one have forward controls on their bagger? Also is there a way to do it with out losing the floorboards? I know you can do it with pegs, but i like the floorboards and the look. I guess im just looking for more comfort room for my legs. thanks.
What about just using highway pegs? \\; They work pretty well for me. \\; I have forward controls on my FDX and love the comfort and the look. \\; \\; I'd be interested in seeing them on a RKC.
Yes, Me. 2007 Street Glide. I recently installed JayBrake forward controls and love them. They place your feet quite a bit more forward. I kinda miss the fact I can't move my feet around quite as much as I could with the stock floorboards, but because I don't put a ton of miles on as I used to, it doesn't bother me at all. I first had the floorboards on and also installed a Lindby Custom Engine guard and it was a good set up. The Lindby bar put my feet out there where I wanted them. Them I removed the Lindby bar because I did a mild make over (slimmed the bike down) and missed being able to stretch my legs out. I then decided to go with the Jaybrake forwards and have been pleased ever since. They are a quality unit utilizing the stock brake arm on the right side. The bike is on Craigs List right now the pictures don't have the forwards on it. I'll be updating the pictures tomorrow and can direct you to the add if you'd like to take a look. Hope this answered some of your questions, Rich
No forward controls. But I put on extended floor boards from Bubbasbrake on and it moved the floorboards forward about 2 3/4 of an inch or so, then I took off the engine gaurd and added the Mark IV extended highway pegs. This set up gives me a ton of room and a bunch of different foot positions.
yeah the mark IV by kuryakn are a sweet setup i've got 'em and every person that ridden my bike has either bought a set or wishes they could they dont work with crash bar so no lowers
