Hours after I posted this (from personal experience with a similar-length bike), I watched someone unload a bagger from a 6.5" bed. It was pretty straight, but the rear tire contact patch was pretty close to the rear end of the bed. Hope it works for you.

Do you put the rear wheel on the tailgate?&nbsp\\; My tailgate is supported by cables and I don't know if I would trust them.

I put my Ultra in the back of a Toyota&nbsp\\;Tunda&nbsp\\;for Daytona, yes I trailered, it was 8* out when we left Orange county, NY.&nbsp\\; I put it on a slight angle with 4 point strAP . jUST CHECK IT EVERY 150 MILES OR SO

Your right, 2 out of the four are flying. but they are paying me pretty well to get their bikes there.
