Default bike washing tips
newbie here&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; .........any tips on washing and drying me new 08 RKC, i was gonna go to local wand wash deal , remove all leather , washer down and finish with "spot free rinse". then hit I-64 and head to the oceanfront, any tips greatly appreciated, has anyone used mr clean car wash system???

Go to the beach first, then wash it.

No, hand washing is bad for bikes, IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.






















Hand washing is fine, jeesh, it is just sheetmetal and chrome. Just take the time to dry it thoroughly. Wash it, rinse it. Dry it, ride it, then dry any areas you missed. Then detail it. Repeat weekly, or biweekly depending on riding style.

Hand washing is still best as long as you do it right.

Usa a leaf blower to dry it you will be happy with the results....

i use a waterless wash and it works great. i have not put the hose to mine yet.

If you just want to sray and wash, try SS100.&nbsp\\; Follow the directions CAREFULLY.&nbsp\\; I'd buy a long skinny round brush and get in all the cracks and etc.&nbsp\\; Then rinse thoroughly, but carefully, especially around the handlebar controls.&nbsp\\; Buy a blower built for drying motorcycles and quality towels.

s100 and motorcycle air dryer,10 minutes looks great.harley wheel cleaner for spokes and mr.clean eraser for white walls.
