You must have missed us UK, the wife and I stayed in Hot Springs 7/21 thru 24 and then Mena on Thursday Night.
We rode all over, got rain and pea sized hail and very hot, but had a blast overall.
We saw lots of bike out and about.
So none of yall saw a good looking middle-aged man on a Vivid Black Harley straightening out some twisties last week in Arkansas? \\;\\\\\\; Weather was at an all time high as far as clarity...b-e-a utiful
This was at the The Queen Wilhelmina Lodge on Friday @ about 6:30AM.
Not really a fog technially, but moisture/humidity passing from the valley below getting compressed into clouds near the mountain summit on a south breeze.
I don't set off in the rain unless its a planned trip. I don't mind the cold and I don't mind the heat. I don't want to ride when it's icy but I'll ride in the rain if I get caught in it.
We have a lot of fair weather riders around here. I will admit, I don't just purposely ride in bad weather, that is what the truck and van are for. But when a ride or run that was previously planed has a little weather with it, 2/3 of our gang bails! My softail still has dirt and rain spots from yesterday. Nothing Mr clean auto dry wont take care of. I think if there was a poll, \\;most of \\;the complainers bikes never been out of the garage if the weather man said there was even a slight chance of rain!
