I'm thinking of adding lower fairings to my '08 Street Glide. I have seen some references to not being able to do this on the FLHX. Is this true? Do I have the option between the vented and non-vented? Looking at part number 58854-05DH (vivid black).
You should be able to do it on the FLHX with either vented or non vented. \\; You can only run the non vented ones on the FLTR's due to the fairing supports.
Put the vented lowers on my 06 FLHX. The extra storage with the gloveboxes was great. Was able to ride the bike more in colder weather because of the fairings.
