Default Fuelpak Setting Breakdown

Anyone have what setting is what?
the only one I have found is (I think#16) idle setting 15,16,or 50.
Trying to "customize" the map setting as I go.

I have had excellent performance with my fuel pack,e-mailed Vance and Hines from their webpage told them my performance combination, they e-mailed the set up numbers and my bike runs fantastic.43m.p.g. avg. This fuel pack took about 15 minutes to install and set up,no computer needed.

Default FuelPak Settings

Actully looking for what the numbers mean..From a technical side. Instead of doing a hit or miss "let's try this number"

I have not heard of anyone who has cracked the code on the Fuel Pak Settings. That is the only drawback to the unit, I can't imagine why they do not publish them, since they provide the maps for free.

You only rode 6,800 miles in a year.
I have 25,000 miles on my fuel pak and I still get good performance and mpg.
I have had 3 sets of mufflers and all 3 required different maps that V&H provided on their site. Didn't have a problem with any of the maps. I kept changing mufflers to get the sound I wanted and still hear my radio.

I am currently working with a couple of members as we try to figure out some of the modes for the Fuelpak. I think some of the Modes can be reasonably defined with a wideband O2 and some experimenting. I installed mine this weekend along with an Arlen Ness Stage 2 air cleaner (open element without a cover). The V&H website suggested FP-2422. I entered the vales into each Mode. When I started my bike I found that the idle would stay between 1300-1500rpm even after a 20 minute ride. The quick ride also indicated that it was alittle rich. I changed Mode 1 from "10" to "5" on a hunch. The results was an idle reduction down to 900-1000rpm. That got me thinking.

Today, I averaged the values for the Modes from two different maps. The bike seemed to perform very well during a 1.5 hr ride. These new settings are very different that the ones for FP-2422. I have sent my new settings, wideband O2 data and thoughts to V&H for their input. I hope to hear from them soon.
