As others have said take the MSF course, and ride on. My wife rides a Sporty 1200 and loves it. But she enjoys riding the comfy couch sometimes as well

I also recommend the MSF class... learn on THEIR bikes, with calm instructors... or? given this is a HD forum... take the riders edge class... may as well get used to paying twice as much, for the same stuff you can get elsewhere... BUT has a bar and shield logo

Get a dirt bike.&nbsp\\; Ride the hell out of it, hillclimbing, broadsliding, locking up the brakes, and try a little flat-tracking.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Do that for a season, and you'll out ride the "video" riders&nbsp\\;and 2-day class on a put-putt students who really can't ride well.&nbsp\\;You won't have a certificate, but you'll be safe and happy.&nbsp\\; Experience is the only teacher.&nbsp\\; Don't learn in traffic.&nbsp\\; If I offended anyone, oh well.
