Default pizzed off

Going down the road at 75 mph. Sounded like i blew a tire. Well wasnt a tire it was my left side saddle bag sliding accross the interstate.
i have a 2006 streetglide. so no chrome guard rail to keep it there.
lucky nobody ran it over.

anything stupid like this happen to other people?

Yeah you hear of it every so often,The quick releases can be mistaken as latched or the fastener fails. Its worth your time to check after dealer visits. The old bolted on styles seem more secure, harder to steal.

Riding behind my budy's RK after he had just adjusted air pressure in the rear suspension. Eastbound on I-90/94 in WI and it falls off his bike, in hvy traffic. I'm eyeballing it next to me wondering WTF when I realize what it was. By the time he got back to it, it had been smashed with clothes all over the interstate. 5 hours into a two week trip.

He was able to pay a premium and get a new one in Milwaukee. They salvaged most of the clothes.

I check those pins almost everyday. I take my bags off to clean them frequently. Sorry to hear that.
