Default how to turn off subscriptions

okay, i spend more time in here so i thought that i would post this here (figured i'd see it sooner).

how do you turn off the automatic subscription feature? i have gone into the cp and found where i can turn off the email notification of a reply, but not the actual subscription itself..... am i blind? if so, you're gonna have to be specific in its location cause i aint seeing it now....

Default Turn off subscription

Here is the secret formula:

Go to Control Panel

Select Settings and Options

Select Edit options

Select Messaging and Notifications

Find the box that says Default Subscription Mode

In the drop down window select Do Not Subscribe

Go to the bottom of the page and select Save Changes

Then you are good to go.

not is not correct, if you click on user cp, it shows your posts, then under the title, it shows reply, and unsubscribe... that easy!

Grover IS correct if you want to turn it off completely.

I seriously doubt most want to make a post, then have to go into their CP just to unsubscribe from every thread they post/reply to.

Thanks Grover!
