I have no problem riding my bike solo for a few hours at a time but more than about 6 hours in a day and my butt calls it quits on the stock Street Glide seat. My wife can't stand to be on it for more than 10 minutes. I bought a replacement Ultra seat (and a taller smoked windshield from Fast Air) that I use when I go on trips or when my wife is on board, and we can ride all day long now with no problems. The seat and shield definitely ruin the lines of the bike but it's perfect for what we do. Plus, when I'm just out for an afternoon ride with the boys, I put the stock parts back on and I've got the look back.

Default CB Conversion

Blue Rose,
How did you make the CB conversion when your tourpak is off?

Thanks,
Charlie

I've never rode an UC b4, but I made my SG the next closest thing. Put a ultra tour pak on (lights even work), throw on my soft side lowers and a 12in halfmoon wing windshield and ready to go. in less than 1/2hr I'm back to streetglide'n. Now I just need to figure out how to hook up the rear speakers...?

<<< lets go for a ride >>>

Detach the TP, put on a low profile seat and your in business. Plus you can set up for 2 up riding or long trips. Best of both worlds IMO. You save money too!

Keep the ultra and detatch the tour pac. I have a street glide and love it, but if I had it to do Over I would have bought the ultra and made stuff quick detatch
