Just bought a 2005 Road King with the thunder 2 into 1 pipes with the fake left. Its too loud and the sound is too high.

Any suggestions as to get the sound deeper and less cracking? I also don't like the idea of having a "fake" muffler.

My 82 FLT was too quiet. I'd like to get something in between the stock FLT and the thunder pipes as to sound. I am willing to give up a few HP.
