Default Mustang Seat pricing

I just ordered the Mustang solo seat/studs and backrest for an 05' FLHR/I. After looking all over I came upon a website www.sargentcycle.com . Mustang lists the seat at $499.00 and most of the pricing I found was within $10-$15 dollars of that. Sargent Cycle offers the seat for $415.65. With shipping, which some of the others included, it came to $459.00. Still alot cheaper. I will let you know how the service is.

Pretty good ... M&M Cycles typicallly does 20% of Mustang seats ... that would put them about $400 ... still pretty close ....

Check on ebay. GM Cycles has a ton of them listed. Got mine for an 06 ultra for $358 plus $20 shipping. Was shipped from Mustang in about a week.

Quick Question for you all, is the seat comfortable? I guess a better question is what makes it better than the stock seat you replaced? I've been thinking about it for a while but it's more than I want to spend on something I've never tried, and can't return. Thanks in advance for you response.

I don't have minee on yet but my buddy has one which I have sat on. It seems much more comfortable than stock. I provides better back support because there is a defined end to the back of the seat, not a slow rise up like the stock. For me, at 5'9" it also is narrower at the nose, which allows me to put my legs straigt down without bowing them. I have not ridden long distance on it but I fugure it's gotta be better than my stock, which suc*s. If I didn't want the driver backrest I definitely would have gone for the Sundowner. It gets great reviews here at about half the price.

Call Benjy's Harley-Davidson (304-523-1340) and ask to talk to Jenny. They are a Mustang dealer, and she saved me $100 off what was listed on the Mustang site. They also do HD parts at 20% off, and her service is THE BEST.
