Question All ***** starter question

Anyone have a problem with the oil filler spout hitting the lower starter screw/nut assy?? I have an 2006 eglide that I installed a new ALL ***** starter in and now the oil filler hits the screw assy and causes the oil filler to leak oil!! Just wondering if anyone elese has seen this??

Your starter must be just a bit longer than a stock one. Without seeing any pictures, could you mill the oil filler cover some to fit better?

Actually,I milled the screw and changed to a lower profile nut, also milled the oil filler some! Reinstalled with new gasket and RTV sealer, have to wait and see!
