Default Steering Neck Zerk question

Looking to go to a 90 degree steering neck zerk on my '07 Ultra and was wondering what thread size I'd need to be able to do so.

Thanks

1/4X28npt I believe. I put the 90 degree in and made lubing so easy.

I did mine.

I believe its SAE 1/8" pipe thread.

I just went to Advance auto, they come in a multipack, just make sure you get the one for SAE and not metric.

FWIW, I had to disassemble the 90° to screw it the fitting body in and tehn just put the grease fitting back in the 90.

I thought I read somewhere here that a 45 degree zerk worked better?

I used the 90 degree fitting on the 06 and the 08 ultra. The thread size is 1/ 4 x 28 you can get it at any auto store. The first time you fill the neck with grease it will take 1/2 to 2/3 of the tube

Big thanks. Even our service guys didn't know the thread size.........WTF???
