One means it's working. You should only receive a notification when others reply to a thread you are watching.

Let me know if you get an email from this reply.

Guess I'm in the wrong thread.

I used to get emails for EVERY THREAD started in the touring forum.

That way, if I am offline for a few days, I could quickly scan through the subjects in my Outlook InBox and only click on those I am interested in.

It would only take minutes to scan HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of topics.

That was so much more convenient than browsing the touring forum and seeing the same threads over and over.

Can this be done here???

THANKS Dave H.

Last page.
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=263975

I don't think people "get it" here.

Email notifications come thru but ONLY on the threads we subscribe to.

There are a few members here that are trying to get email notifications to ALL NEW THREADS within the Touring Forum.

That was slicker than $hit before on the old system.

We want an automatic email for EVERY new thread started in the Touring Forum so we can QUICKLY scan all the topics in our In box and read/click on only those we are interested in.

Does everybody understand???

EMAILS FOR EVERY NEW THREAD.

Anybody out there who could word this or explain it better???

(I've had a couple cold ones.)

MODERATORS (or members in the know) - CAN THIS BE DONE?????????

In other words - you are subscribing to a "FORUM" rather than an individual thread.

Get it now?????

Thanks
