Default Post Sig Instructions?

I've tried, but I can't do it. It was a miracle last time. Can some kind soul give me line by line instructions on how to post the sig. I keep getting errors and the only thing that shows up where the sig should be is a link to the sig.

To get your sig pic up, go to User CP; Edit Options and at the bottom of the page in Miscellaneous Options switch from Basic Editor to Standard Editor and then hit Save Changes.

The photo you are trying to use is to large of a file size, 154kb.

The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 250 pixels or 97.7 KB (whichever is smaller).

Try this one.

Upload the photo to where you keep your photos.
In UserCP - Edit Signature - place the link to the photo you just uploaded
Click "Insert Signature Picture"
The signature edit box should contain the link inside these tags.
