Wink removing license bracket/grab handle?

I am moving the tag to under the stop light on my 07 road glide, wonder if anyone has removed the tag bracket/grab handle, and how difficult it is to do this.
Also any good pics, especially on what you all may have used to cover the back of the mounting areas.
thanks.

How does the bar come off? Do you still have to cut it?

No you don't have to cut it. You unbolt the old one and install the new brackets. No cutting or cannibalizing your old parts.

Very good! Thanks. I like to keep all my stock parts in case I decide to sell or trade up to a newer touring bike.
