There HAS been lots of good thing said about MCC. I just can't find the time to park the bike for the two weeks it would take to get it done (we ride all year in Florida!). I also hate the idea of going through the hassle of buying another seat, then trying to sell one. Darn it! (just venting).
so many great posts about these guys! wish they worked on mustangs. guess ill have to do it myself
blueflht,
It won't be long and we'll be working on all seats including all after market seats. Currently there is just two of us full time and I have been putting in 12-16 hour days which sucks when the weather has been as nice as it has around here lately. I am getting ready to build onto the shop again and move all the custom cover work we do into that area and this will free up the room to handle more seats per day and I already have another fellow rider who is also a upholsterer that is going to be coming on board to help with the increased work load of taking these seats on. I have already started getting the memory foam that will be used in these seats and it simply ROCKS! I personally am really excited about doing these seats because we get asked 10-15 times a week to work on them and currently we just can't take on the extra work load but it won't long and we will be knocking these things out too.
I recently posted my Mean City seat for sale but got no takers. Surprised no one was interested. These seats are much more comfortable than stock. Guess I'll try ebay?
I'm waiting until the end of riding season to get in touch with MCC about doing mine over the winter, that way I don't have to worry about loosing any riding time. The longest ride I've done so far on my 08 Ultra was about 300 miles and it was hard to get off the bike at the end because of being sore. Looking forward to some long vacations next summer and want a seat that won't make it miserable....I've tried Mustang and don't like them, and heard too many bad stories about poor customer service from Corbin, so MCC seems like the best alternative.
