Default Chrome Bulbs

I am having the hardest time finding chrome bulbs that shine red for my smoked turn signal lenses. Does anyone know where I can pick up some good quality 1156s?

+1 for Custom Dynamics for the bulbs....Check out the chrome tipped bulbs in red...They put out about 40% more light then the completely chromed bulbs...

The completely chrome bulbs don't put out to much "red" at all, to me they looked more "pink" I put them in, turned on the lights and switched right back to red and amber bulbs. The Chrome tipped may be better as far as color of light. I wouldn't recommend the full chromes.

Ditto on the chrome tipped ones. Peppa1, chrome bulbs or chrome tipped bulbs are used when you have smoked or clear lenses. That way you don't see the color of the bulb unless it's lighted.

Couldn't find chrome tipped reds on the site, only amber.

Can't help with the turn signals - only the rear; the best choice IMO is the Iridium Coated Red Incandescent Bulb. JP cycle has'em - made by Kuryakyn. These are 1157's. They do NOT shine pink in any way. They're awesome, don't fade over time and are nice and bright. The catch is the cost: about $20 a bulb.

As for the turn signals - I have smoked lenses on my ride -both front & rear- and just have red bulbs in the rear & the orange/yellow bulbs in the front. To be honest, you can hardly tell what color bulb is in'em because of the way the lenses are smoked....have you put in your lenses yet & just checked to see how it looks?

My opinion is that the round signals are so small, that the smoke effect shadows or drowns out the true color of the bulb when it's on; as for the rear tail light - that's another story due to how big the housing is (and depends on which housing you have). Again, I just picked up the lay down Kuryakyn tail light that came with that iridium bulb. I and others love the look I've got, front & rear.

*NOTE: My sig pic does not reflect the lay down tail light I have on. I need to update the pic

I thought about smoked lenses but went another route because of the problem you are haveing, I got the module that turns the rear signals to brake/turn. I figure the more light back there the better.
