Been looking for a quieter exhaust and decided to go to a 2:1 looked at all of them and decided on the bub7. Hope it was the right decision but we will find out.
I was looking for a little quieter pipe looked at getting a fat cat then phil mentiond that kevin @ headquarters took his back off talked to kevin to see what was up and he went back with a rinehart said on the H.Q. 113 he felt it just did a little better through the rpm range. I like the styling of the bub better than the rinehart so I called bub. They were able to convince me the bub will perform as well or better than the rinehart on my bike so I decided to give it a try. They build both pipes so no reason for them to sell me one over the other I figure.
so.... Darren, when are we doin that motor build ~ is that still this winter?
Hey Phil! Long time no see!
I've been working like a dog putting my pennies away. Might have to settle for a little HQ 103 or 107 build. Splitting the case expense seems out of reach for me at present.
Good to see ya still posting and hope to see/hear more from you. This place sure has changed. I miss the old days.
Thanks Ausperheat for the reply as well. Interest in your results too.
Good choice. I went with the rinehart 2-1. Love that black cap and if they are almost as loud as the true duals. Plus, I put in a HQ 575 cam. Makes her sound a lot better.
