I think the threads got deleted because two of the members that were posting were obviously shilling for the company. One guy post at 4:00pm on monday that he just ordered his. Then 4 hours later he posted a detailed, glowing review of how amazing the product was.
It's a shame. It's likely a good product, but wasn't served well be people trolling the message boards to promote it.
i've been reading all the comments on these and have a question. I've owned my Ultra about 4 months, and haven't noticed anything. The only thing I notice going down the highway is sometimes there's a fluctuation because of the road surface changing. So are you guys talking about wobble at high speeds down the highway, or hammering the bike through twisties?
They say the only dumb question is the one you're afraid to ask, so there it is.
I can tell you for sure you will notice a difference in the handling.
Tighter, more responsive and confident. Bumps and potholes don't feel like you're losing traction.
Slow turns feel much easier.
The install was done by the dealer, and it took him 20 minutes. I timed it!
One of the wrenches that worked there took it for a ride after it was done and loved it. Said he is ordering one for his Road Glide. Mine was the 1st one they had ever seen, but were really impressed with the quality and design. (As was I)
No pics from my bike, but it would look just like the one on their site.
I can take one or two if you guys really want more pics.
BaggerDave,
I would like to see a pic that shows how the brace affects ground clearance. How much does it hang down lower than anything else on the bottom of the bike.
Thx
