Part # 74745-08 installed on '09 RKC - it does have the miles till empty, and you can set it to auto pop-up when the warning comes up.

My SERK has the spun aluminum combo and has all the functions noted above, do not see why they would not work on any road king??

I have the: Combination Speedometer/Tachometer - Spun Aluminum Face part #74753-08 and I do not have miles till empty. Does anyone else have this speedo/tach with that feature?

I put the combo on my RKC when I took it in for the 1,000 mile service - the odo was pre-set for 1,000. It works like a charm and everything works just like the stock speedo. I also have the spun aluminum face, it gives the RKC the perfect look.

I'll let you know how the installation of the nostalgic face speedo/tach unit works when I pick up my new '09 FLHRC. There should be no difference between the two.

All of the stock functions are present on the spun aluminum speedo/tach. Clock, miles to empty, etc are all there. You lose nothing in the conversion from the 08 stock speedo to the speedo-tach combo.

Well my spun aluminum speedo/tach part number: 74755-08 (KPH Calibrated) arrived on friday. I installed it tonight before dinner, took me about 30 min. All functions from the stock speedo are there, miles till empty, clock + all the idiot lights etc.... really sweet, I'm quite happy with this so far.
