Default New HD Intercom

Perusing the '09 P&A book and noticed HD is offering owners of bikes with the HK radio an intercom rig for $254.95 list. Part nos. are 77173-06, -07, and -08.

It provides owners with the opportunity to install an intercom system without the added expense of the CB radio which was previously required.

Of course, helmet headsets are a seperate purchase item.

I'm interested . . . $204 at Chicago Harley. I have the 09 catalog in PDF format. Here is what it shows. I may have to get one of these this winter. I'm not very happy with the bluetooth setup I have.

Not for me. Don't want to talk that much and neither does my wife. Besides, She is right there. I cannot see spending money to hear " I GOTTA PEE".

I've got an Ultra, so obviously I have an intercom, and we use it all the time. But speaking from previous experience on bikes that did not have them, I've come to the following conclusion: If the wife wants to make her intentions known, she will do so with or without the headset.
