Been doing a lot of work to my Road king custom. lots of powder coating, some gloss black , some wrinkle finish.

on the tank I had the dash powder coated wrinkle finish and switched out the ignition switch for a black one, got a carbon fiber insert and mounted up flush mount gas gauge and gas cap. I just picked up a black face speedometer to complete the black out of the tank.

the rear fender, changed out the stock rear fender for a street glide fender with the filler panel, actually have to change a couple of things before it goes on the bike, getting the license plate mount powder coated wrinkle finish.

I had the stock rear wheel powder coated to match the new front wheel

and for the front I got a 21" Roland Sands Design morris wheel in the black ops finish. the wheel looks amazing in person, the fit and finish are top notch. and yes I had to go for the matching rotors.

I will post more photos as I make some progress.

I'm not sure what the 21" front wheel weighs, the rear is stock just powder coated wrinkle finish.

Love the texture contrast of the dash on that with the carbon fiber insert, looks nice!

Thanks, the wrinkle finish really doesnt translate in photos as good as it does in person. Great combo.

Did a little work today, changed out the speedometer for a black face unit and got a black dash nut.

How closely does that wrinkle match the engine/Trans? If it is a match could you ask you powder guy what he is using? I am thinking of having my primary cover, cam cover, and trans covers done instead of buying new ones if I can find a match.
