I've got an '06 Road Glide. I love this bike, but I'm not too fond of the whip antenna.
Does anyone have any experience with short replacement antenna's? If you've found a good one, what did you use, and where did you get it? Were there any limitations to the new antenna (i.e. couldn't use the CB, couldn't get the weather station, etc.)?
Thanks much!!
I put a smaller antenna on which I got from Pep Boys, I think it is about 10 inches long and cost about $10.
No problem receiving radio stations and looks alot better to.
I have the TT2C hidden in the fairing, and a few others on here have them too. It was like $35.00 shipped to me.

after losing 2 antannea from our 05 ultra, and replaceing them at $35 apiece, i went to autozone and bought 2 short rubber coated antannea for $5 each. no problem with the radio reception and they look much better than the long ones.
Tune Trapper antenna!!!
Hide it inside the fairing and go antennaless.
Works for me with no complaints at all.
Works with weather band?
Slightly off topic....but is the Harley antenna relocation kit nothing more than an CB extention cable? If so, where do you get that extention cable? ( I need to move mine to the tour pack)
