Well, after years on this forum, I finally pulled the trigger on an 09 FLHTCU!
Red Hot Sunglo and Smokey gold, with ABS.
I will be taking delivery this week! They have to get the dealer transfer done, and do a wheel swap, and I'll be getting her home. I want the cast wheels, and it has laced!

I can't wait to get some miles on her!
Are they giving you some money back for those wheels? I know back when I bought my bike, I think it was $600.00 more for laced wheels...but who wants to worry about spoke tension and innertubes?...Not THIS guy.
Congrats on the new bike. From what I've been reading they ride better than ever. I'm almost tempted to trade in both my bikes...but I'm holding out for a water cooled bagger.
Congrats on the new purchase, I know how you feel. I purchasd an 09 SG a few weeks ago and am loving it everyday that I ride it. I too had the laced wheels on my bike at time of delivery. I got lucky because a RK purchaser wanted the laced wheels so the dealer did a wheel swap upon my approval. So I got the stock 29 spoke wheels that are stock on your model. You're gonna love the way it rides and handles....
