I just installed new air shock abs to my Road King Custom 2005. I do not installed the Low Profile ones. I installe the regular ones. The problems is that if I put 15 lbs of air on it, when I take out the air because I want 5 lbs, when I take out the air, comes with oil. The local HD Dealer told me that this is normal, that what I have to do, is put 10lbs on its and use in a solo ride or with passanger. Is that correc? Thats sound strange to me.
put 10 to 15 riding solo and 15 -20 riding 2 up. Of course that really depends on how much you and your passenger weigh.
Always use the harley pump to insert air, never a high pressure compressor. The harley pump has a relief valve to let air out. Doing it this way you will not get any oil. I have seen a small amount of oil come out when just removing air with your finger etc.
