Hello,
Newbie here. Bought a Zumo 550 looking for threads for a clean install on FLHR. What did you guys do and where to get the products for quick disconnects. I do not want to leave it on the bike except for travel.
Nice looking install RDE,
I think I will go with something similar to yours. So was the powerbar from www.powerletproducts.com and the ram mount from www.ram-mount.com? Was there anything else needed?
saw a thread on heer where a guy put it into the winshield bag wouldnt know it was there when closed when open he had a piece of platic sewwed into the top edge of bag so u could see it without takin it out.
You're in for a bumpy ride Tonto. I'd get busy cancelling the order and ordering from a REPUTABLE dealer.
Thanks for the heads up. What a bunch of BS. I wish I had seen the reviews before ordering it. I have one already but with no mounting harware except for in car setup. When I saw the price from 86th street, I was just going to get a second one.

All you'll need is from these two sources. I also suggest getting a locking **** for your Ram Mount. Item #RAM-KNOB3LU
I think you might also need a cradle to set the Zumo in...Then the Ram-mount will attach to it...If all you have is the car cradle then you'
ll also need the cradle...
