i know very little about hogtunes. I was thinking about getting the speakerpods for my tour pak with the amp. How good are they? Easy to install? I'm pretty handy with a wrench, but shy away from doing my own wiring.
Do a search for hogtune threads here. I never hear any bad about them. I have had their unit for 3 years, easy install, very helpfull and great sound. Even my service mgr. at the local Harley joint marvels at the sound from the set up. They blow away a stock Harley stereo.
Why don't you say what problem you're having ?
Yes! I just installed the 3 way for the Freeway system in my 08 Ultra Classic yesterday.
I'm getting nothing out of the left side of the amp.
I contacted Eastern Performance Cycles who I bought the system from and they refered to to the Hogtunes Website. Hogtunes has posted that they are at a trade show until Monday.
I'll call them on Monday and we'll see what they do.
It's a good thing I tested the system before I put the Batwing back together.
Performed stock replacement for 07 Street glide.
Simple easy upgrade and install. Clarity much better than oem.
Search past forums for hogtune installation.
good luck.
I installed front and rear 2 weeks ago in mine. You dont have to be a wrench in my opinion to do this, unless you cant remove a few screws. I was skeptical about buying these over the OEM`s. I was like are they that much better than the OEM, well if you think your OEM speakers sound good then you`ll be in for a surprise if you install the HogTunes. I`m glad I made the switch and there was no wiring just Plug and Play. As for problems there are only 3 things I can think of, 1 is there is a difference in the front speakers and the back, make sure you put the front in the front and the back in the back. Whats the difference I dunno, but they are labeled front and Back. #2 - I guess you probably just got a bad pair of speakers,it does happen #3 If you had to do some wiring reasons unknown to me and you wired them up incorrectly.
