ITs real easy as long as you don't have driveby wire throttle. Can't remember if 07 does. Simple process takes about 30mins.

How hard is it to change grips with the Throttle By Wire? I have a 08 Model and want to change the Grips on mine. Does anyone know?

'08's and up have FBW throttle.
It's not real difficult to change out the grips but be very careful not to pinch any wires as you replace the hand control housings. PInch the wrong wires and you can have nasty little problems that are quite hard to find or diagnose.
Good luck!

IMHO it is easier to do a TBW than a cable set up. 15 min if you have a beer while doing it.

Left side is not much different as most other year models but that right side, hummm!
Probably best to get hold of service manual for your scoot (you will eventually need it anyway).

Very easy and the 07 are still cable throttles. Take your time with the right hand grip. You will be dealing with two brass ferrels that can mysteriously become invisible when dropped. The left one is just remove and glue on the new one.

And don't forget to wedge a piece of cardboard in the front brake handle to protect the brake light switch. (Ask me how I know )

TBW is an easy swap. Instructions were easy to follow in the ISO grips I got. I really don't see how it is possible to pinch any wires or damage the brake switch on the right side as others have indicated. 2 torx screws to remove and the switch housing separates allowing you to slip the old grip off the end of the handle bar. Installation is reverse - just make sure the splines align. The left side takes a sharp blade in a utility knife, some emery cloth to get the old adhesive off, and a little bit of all purpose cleaner before glueing the new one on. Both sides took 15 mins.
