aclass - Awesome! Sounds like a great ride. How'd the Mrs. hold up each day? Mine can pull 700-800 2up with me, but she'll be ridin on her own soon and I'd like to drag her out west oneday.
Just got back from camping/fishing with wifey & kids, so catching up on some past posts.
ezlife, cant say enough about the bride, I never heard a single complaint. The heat across Missouri and Kansas knocked the edge off of her a bit but every time I'd look in the mirror that RK was tagging right along. Your wife will do just fine I'm sure.
She did say when we were close to home that she'd be glad to dress up and feel a little more "girly" for a change....
Thank all of yall for nice comments, the trip was one we'll never forget. What a great way to see the country.
Let me say this, If you're debating a long trip on the scoot, do it!! being nervous and anxious is all part of the adventure just like enduring the elements and butt pains. I swear, when were coming across Minnesota that day and the wind was to our backs and all you could hear was the hum of the twin cam and the panoramic view of all the beautiful country, DUDE!! makes me grin from ear to ear just thinking about.
