Default Another audio thread.

Ok so minus the wiring pain in the a$$, why is there an issue with standard car audio amps and head units? It's 12volts. Everything should work fine minus the weather proof part. A marine head unit would be fine but really it's the power amp that i'm talking about. Anyone out there have any input?

Most of the car units have internal fans. Vibration of a motorcycle is much greater than a car. Moving parts and vibrations don't work well together in the long term.

im running a blaupunkt pa2100 amp inside my fairing no issues at all. firecap501 has arc audio amps which fit in the fairing and with digital amps vibration and heat are a thing of the past. tell firecap blue sent you its worth a look!
