Default Wheel difference touring soft tail

I have a 98 Electra gluide, with the 3/4 shafts. Recently I had to replace my rear wheel due to a crack, the shop I got the wheel from sold me an 80 spoke wheel. I ordered the front but for some reason they are on backorder. A friend of mine has an 80 spoke after market wheel dual rotor set up with the 3/4 shaft for a 98 Soft tail. Can anyone tell me if it will fit the touring model, other the wheels being 16 X 3 and not 16 X 3.5. I just want to match the two wheels even though you really can see the rear. Both wheels are dual rotor set up and have the same shaft size so I am wondering what the difference is between the two.

Thanks David
