Default 2 into 1 Pro pipe question.

I have an 05 RK Custom and I am going to put a V&H Pro Pipe on it. Would it be better
to use a SERT or V&H's Fuel Pak? I want the bike to run as good as it can, but
would the extra cost of the SERT plus the extra dyno time to dial it in be worth
the performance gains over the fuel pak?

I will post pictures when it is all done.
Thanks,
Navarre

I put a 2 into 1 on my street glide with the SERT and dyno tune. Great results.

Any tuning tool is only as good as the Tech. doing the dynotune. SERT, PCIII are both great. Have not heard anything about the FuelPak product.
Bottom line is the Dyno Tech. guy must know how to use the software to get great results.

FWIW... I've mentioned this before. I took the Thunderheader off my SEEG & replaced it with the propipe in an attempt to quiet the bike down a little. Results! It sounded different, almost as loud, and I lost 14 hp. I put the thunderheader back on. If its gonna make that much noise you might as well get the horsepower that goes with it..... JMHO

FWIW - II

I have to agree w/ alazlo. THe Pro-Pipe looks & sounds great, but the performance is not up to par with ThunderHeader, White Bros E-Series, or D&D. Take a quick look at some of the performance engine builders website (Branch, Performance Techniques, etc. - did not see anything specific to exhaust on the BadBoyz site, but I bet they might have some input too). You'll see that the White Bros is most commonly recommended. When I was working with one of the previously mentions shops, they told me "not" to use the Pro-Pipe I already had and get one of the other three if I wanted to really see the results their machine work and engine package.

Again.... It has to do with what you want...
