Chrome sprocket bolts backing out
I installed a new rear wheel about three weeks ago and decided to get new bolts for the sprocket. I lock-tighted and torqued the bolts to HD spec. Two of the bolts backed out on me and was sheared off by the shock mount. I took it to my local dealer to get the sprocket replaced and found out that the three remaining bolts were broken off in the hub, the only thing that was keeping them in place was the fact that they were jammed in to the sprocket/hub. Now I got to deal with the price of the new sprocket and possibly a trashed 18" wheel that I just bought. Are the chrome bolts junk or what?
