Well I was riding today about 50 miles from home 5th gear 3000rpm and boom cloulds of blue smoke out of the tail pipes and oil gushing out of the air filter, down one cylinder. called road america and 1/2 hour later roll back truck was there and hauled us into the dealer. It was right at closing time and they push it in the door. They said could be a broke ring or piston. Will have to wait to tuesday to find out. Now if I could get people to stop driving past the house with there bikes I wouldn't feel so bad. lol

Well, glad you got it off the road ok. Hope the damage isn't aweful.

 

hope all turns out ok ,wonder if you have the same issue with shifting of the fly wheels and the oil pump taking a s*** one thing leads to another, I would want to know what the pinion run out is.

Got a sweet 08UC waiting to be flooded you could go pick up for me and ride it all you want. Plenty of goodies on it and you can keep it till your bike gets fixed.
