I have been eyeing this 2003 roadglide. I live in the bay area and just about every year roadglide I see for sale is at least $12000.

Looks a little high to me. I have the same bike bought from dealer last year for 13,500 with no salvage title. My milage was higher though 36,000.

Too much for a salvage title bike.
If you are really interested see if they can provide a
bill from the repair facility. Was the frame replaced?

No deal. Dont fool with salvage titles. For that money, you will be able to find one with a clean title.

Not sure if this is relevant but I just sold my 2002 FLHR (carb) with almost 39k miles for $12000. I'm in California, but it's California Maryland.

Is it the engine work that you are wanting because I believe a new RG is only $18500? Why not just spend the extra money?

I'm about the best shopper. Patients is a virtue! The hardest part is not jumping on something, because next week you will be kicking your self in the a$$ because of the deal you just found after purchasing a different bike. You can find salvage title bikes for less then $10,000 and put 1K into it. There out there just need to keep looking. I personally do not like salvage bikes. No resale. It took me a month to get my Deuce. When I first saw one of the bikes, I wanted one. But I wasn't going to pay 27K+. A year later they were going strong at 24.5-25K but I started shopping. The one I got had 2008 miles and I only payed $20,100. Why, Because someone out there has what you want and needs the money!
